The U.S.S. Wind Spirit welcomes you!

The Wind Spirit is a family-oriented Star Trek fan club in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  

Meetings are held on the second Saturday of every month at the police station on Tutt on the east side, unless otherwise noted.

Congratulations to Clyde Wilson, our new Captain, and Lara Polniak, our new Executive Officer!

Ferengi:

Their 285 governing Rules of Acquisition leave few doubts about the Ferengi’s latinum-coated pursuit of capitalism.  Alas, greed isn’t the only human blight on their race; it seems the Ferengi are unapologetic in their discriminations towards women.  While females are equals in Federation society, the Ferengi (for whom the hammer is a symbol of sexual prowess) view non-Ferengi females strictly in terms of sexual opportunity, and do not allow their own females to wear clothing or aspire to anything more than a domestic role.  Among primitive restrictions placed on the other half: Ferengi women may not leave the house, make a profit or learn to read.
